Halloween '22

Both students and the school staff enjoyed the Halloween workshops organized by the Department of English. With the assistance of teachers and Bachillerato students, our younger ones made some crafts and learnt about the different Halloween celebrations. They all had a great time. We really hope the rest of the day was scary!

2022-2023 WIMPY KID COMIC BOOK CONTEST

We always read Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School in the first year of the Bilingual Section. By the end of the book we are no longer primary school students but high school ones! So, what’s the best way to celebrate? A comic book contest!

Every student creates a comic book based on the life and adventures of the characters in the Wimpy Kid saga. Here you can read the three winners of the contest. These worthy winners were chosen after careful deliberation but every contestant showed skill and talent. Congratulations for your work!

En El Carrascal siempre leemos Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School en el primer año de la Sección Bilingüe. Nos acostumbramos al instituto con Greg. ¡Crecemos con él! Y cuando acabamos el libro ya no somos parte de primaria sino adolescentes de secundaria. El mejor modo de celebrarlo es, claro, con el concurso anual de cómic.

Todo el alumnado crea un cómic basado en la vida y aventuras de los personajes de la saga. Aquí podéis leer a los ganadores, pero todos los participantes mostraron su talento y creatividad. ¡Enhorabuena a todos!

Hi everyone

This year we had another Halloween contest in our school. Our 1st year students had to make "scary food" or a "carved pumpkin". They worked hard and some of them were really good. Here you can see some of them:
