POLITICAL MAP OF SPAIN

 * Spain is a European country. It belongs to the European Union (EU).

 * Spain is in the South-West of Europe. The borders of Spain are:

    - To the North: France, Andorra and de Cantabrian Sea

    - To the South: The Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and Africa.

    - To the East: the Mediterranean Sea

    - To the West: Portugal and the Atlantic Ocean.

    Spain  is made up of: the Iberian Peninsula (Península Ibérica), two archipelagos The Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands (Islas Canarias and Islas Baleares) and two autonomous cities: Ceuta and Melilla.

   Spain is divided into 17 autonomous communities (or political regions) and 2 autonomous cities. There are 15 autonomous communities in the Iberian Peninsula, and the other 2 autonomous comunities are the 2 archipelagos, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands. 

  Ceuta and Melilla are 2 autonomous cities in the North coast of Africa next to the Iberian Peninsula.
