Hi everyone, how are you doing?

My name is Sergio Ruano París. I’m thirty-three years old. I’m from Spain and I was born in Madrid, which is the capital of the country. I am working as an English teacher in Ramón Gómez de la Serna school. I’ve been working here for seven years. Nowadays I am teaching in 5th Grade and I am very excited to meet my sew students.

When I was twenty-two I worked as a Foreign Language Assistant for eight months in Stockport (a village near Manchester in England). It was an amazing experience and probably the best year of my life! Apart from that, I worked as a Spanish Visiting Teacher in Florida (Palm Beach) for three years teaching Spanish in Greenacres Elementary School. I met a lot awesome people there and I enjoyed it a lot too. I missed a little bit the beach near my home and the weather because I remember wearing my swimsuit every day after school.

I hope you will have the opportunity to travel to other countries to practise and improve your English in the future. I like English a lot because you can communicate with other people all over the world. I love going to the cinema and I like lots of films, but my favourite one is Forrest Gump. Besides, I like playing football with my friends and reading books. One thing that I don’t like at all is cooking because I’m not a good cook, but I think I will try to learn how to cook during this year.
