On the last 8th of November, the English Department of our high school organised an activity for all the groups in 4thESO and 1stBachillerato. Like many other years, this time we had the opportunity to watch some short films in English.

At 8:15 we met at the train station and, after a while, we took a train to Alcalá de Henares. We walked from the station to the theatre and, once there, we waited for a few minutes, because there were lots of us! Finally, we were told to enter the theatre and we enjoyed watching all the short films in English.

We watched five different short films, all of them with subtitles in English too, so they were not too difficult to understand. They were 'Jamie', 'Refuge', 'Sweet Maddie Sone' and 'Tête a Tête'. All of them were good, although some were funnier than others.

Once the short films finished, we had free time to walk around the city centre, which was great because the weather was sunny and quite warm. Finally, at 13:30 pm. we walked back to the station and from there we took a train to Torrejón. To sum up, I think it was a great activity!
