THEATRE-BLACK HISTORY MONTH- 14TH JUNE 2021

Un grupo de alumnos de 1º ESO  de Programa y 1º ESO Sección se reúne los martes y viernes con la Coordinadora de Bilingüismo para ensayar una obra de teatro que versa sobre el incidente protagonizado por Rosa Parks en un autobús. Los viernes Nicole ayuda a los alumnos en aspectos como la entonación , la pronunciación y declamación. 

TEATRO EN INGLÉS

Está demostrado que el teatro potencia la memoria y la expresión corporal.  A su vez , los alumnos se someten a una disciplina para poder trabajar en grupo.

OBJETIVOS

• Fomentar  la cooperación, la socialización y la tolerancia entre compañeros.
• Mejorar la autoestima en los alumnos.
• Entender la necesidad de una disciplina de grupo : aprenderse el papel, ensayar para adquirir soltura y confianza.

OBJETIVOS LINGÜÍSTICOS

• Ampliar vocabulario
• Mejorar la pronunciación y entonación.
• Modular la voz y esforzarse por proyectarla bien.

OBJETIVOS ARTÍSTICOS

• Usar recursos de comunicación como las manos, el movimiento o los gestos.
• Desarrollar la capacidad de empatía representando a los distintos personajes.
• Viajar en el tiempo a otros momentos históricos.

El lunes 14 de junio de 2021 representaremos la obra en varios grupos de 1º ESO. Nicole ha diseñado un FOLLETO con los nombres de los actores , y con información sobre Martin Luther King y Rosa Parks.

THEATRE - BLACK HISTORY MONTH

A talented group of 1st ESO Programa and 1st ESO Sección students meet on Tuesdays and Fridays, with the Bilingual Coordinator, to rehearse a play based on Rosa Parks bus incident. On Fridays, the conversational assistant Nicole helps students in various aspects - such as intonation, pronunciation, and declamation.

THEATRE IN ENGLISH

Theatre has been shown to boost both memory and corporal expressions. Additionally, students experience the demands of working as a group.

OBJECTIVES 

-Promote cooperation, socialization and tolerance among peers.

-Improve self-esteem in students.

-Understand the need for group discipline: learn theatre lines and rehearse to gain confidence. 

LINGUISTIC OBJECTIVES 

-Expand vocabulary

-Improve pronunciation and intonation

-Improve speaking skills and projection of the voice

 ARTISTIC OBJECTIVES

-Develop communication methods, such as with hands, bodily movement, or gestures.

-Develop the ability to empathize with others by acting as different characters.

-Travel back in time to experience distant historical moments.

 

On Monday, June 14th, 2021 we will  perform the work to several groups of 1st ESO. Nicole has designed a brochure with the names of the actors, as well as information about Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks.
