There are many ways to prevent illness. The things that we do are known as healthy habits. Look at the grid before you answer the questions on your right.

Balance diet

Food can be classify in different groups. All these groups have the nutrients our bodies need to function and stay healthy. Nutrients that we find are:

  • Carbohydrates.
  • Proteins and iron.
  • Fats.
  • Calcium.
  • Vitamins and minerals. 

Rest

Our body needs to recover from daily activity. Sleep is  one of the most important part of resting.

At your age you should sleep at least 9 hours.

Personal hygiene

Take care of your hygiene is going to be important to fight bacteria or viruses. to do this, we should: 

  • Wash you hands before and after meals.
  • Have showers frequently.
  • Brush your teeth right after you eat.
  • Use a tissue when you sneeze.

Checks-ups

Even if there is nothing wrong with you, visit your doctors will help you to be healthy. 

Some of the check-is includes:

  • Sight and hearing.
  • Blood pressure.
  • Teeth.
  • Height and weight.

Do exercise 

An active lifestyle will hep your respiratory, circulatory and locomotor. It will also be good for your mental health.

You can practice soccer, dance, gymnastics, fending and basketball amongst other.
