SO

It is used to show agreement with positive statements. The structure is as follows:

So + auxiliary verb + subject

Examples:

Blanca: "I am happy"

Sonia: "So am I"

Lewis: "I always sleep late on weekends"

Robert: "So do I"

NEITHER

It is used to show agreement with negative statements. The structure is as follows:

Neither + auxiliary verb + subject

Examples:

George: "I don't understand Spanish"

Lina: "Neither do I"

Samantha: "I didn't go out last weekend"

Rachel: "Neither did I"
