PROJECT ABOUT A CITY

1.- How many?: In groups of 4 or 5 people
2.- Task: Choose a city and explain different aspects of urban living
3.- How?: Prepare a presentation that includes the following information related to your city: Remember to include an introduction, a development and a conclusion:

• Main landmarks
• Existence of slums
• Wealth
• Crime rate
• Population density
• Quality of life
• Litter collection
• Types of housing
• Sports and entertainment facilities
• Examples of overcrowding
• Examples of skyscrapers
• Examples of fines that you have to pay
• Mayor
• Unemployment rate

4.- When?: 29th and 30th of January
5.- Evaluation instruments: Oral presentation of the project to the class. Each member of the group will present for around 1’ aprox. You can only present using pictures of the city (in a digital or printed format). While you are presenting another group will write a summary of the information you provide.
