Here you can see the video of the Radium Girls. An history that is an example of the struggle for the rights and working conditions of the workers of all around the world.

The Radium Girls worked with radioactive materials without any kind of protection. They suffered serious illnesses and many of them died. The employees sued the company. As the trial went on their health was deteriorating.

In the end the company was found guilty and was forced to pay compensation. Thanks to them awoke the labor movement for the defense of civil rights of all workers.
