How to Analyze a photograph and some Key Vocabulary

How to Analyze a Photograph

  1. Introduction: One or two sentences where you have to say what it is (a photograph, an urban plan, a graphic, a cartoon....).
  2. General Description.
    • First describe what you see
    • Later describe what you can deduce from what you see
    • (Here we will need to identify the topic that the photograph is trying to show and write the characteristics of this topic that are represented in the photograph)
  3. Causes
  4. Consequences
  5. Some possible solutions
  6. Personal opinion (it is not necessary, but if you want to write your opinion do it here). (I don't recommend it unless you want to say something interesting).
