Unit 1 – The Age of Enlightenment

  1. The Old Regime and the Enlightenment (page 12).
    • Explain the ideas of Montesquieu, Voltaire and Rousseau (pag 14).
  2. Absolute Monarchy and Enlightened Despotism.
  3. Economic policies of the 17th and 18th centuries.
    • Triangular Trade in 18th century. (Describe it) (pages 10 and 17)
  4. Spain and the Spanish War of Succession.
  5. Reformism in Bourbon Spain.
  6. Characteristics of Rococo style and Neoclassical style.

One person will do point 1, another person will do point 2 and 3, another person will do point 4 and another person will do points 5 and 6.
