PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Email depedfisica.ies.quevedo.madrid@educa.madrid.org

From the Department of Physical Education we believe that any teaching-learning process should focus on the motivation to learn more about our environment, without giving up in situations that may be adverse.

For this, it is not only important the individual and group aptitude and ability to solve learning contexts, but also the attitude and ease to function in new environments in which capacities such as teamwork, active participation and self-respect, to each teacher, to the material used and of course to the others, be maximum.

Complying with these aspects, it will be possible to guarantee a safe, effective and quality physical practice in all the subjects that we teach in ESO, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training (Physical Education and Physical Activity and Sports Sciences respectively).

GEOGRAFY AND HISTORY

Email depgeohistoria.ies.quevedo.madrid@educa.madrid.org

We are a stable group, with years of presence in the center. We attend the day and evening shifts, with the peculiarities of the students of each of them. But, the most important thing is that we like our work and the subjects we explain.

We know that our area of knowledge is complex due to the difficulties that our groups have in abstracting space and time, understanding and studying them. The chronological axis and the map are two fundamental elements in the classroom, and we have projectors and screens in them with which we can show in our explanations any map, any document, any building or landscape that illustrates them. This brings our students closer to the reality in which we move.

In addition, our didactic approach is dynamic, with individual and group activities that serve to energize classes and qualify our students, leaving behind the classic objective test file.
