4ª Actividad de aprendizaje en Italia (1-5/04/2019)

1 de abril: primer día de actividades en el IIS (Istituto di Istruzione Superiore). A las 8:30 nos recibieron calurosamente en el Aula Patrizia Di Salvatore, un pequeño auditorio, donde se presentaron los estudiantes y profesores de los diferentes países involucrados en el proyecto. Los estudiantes de la escuela anfitriona presentaron su trabajo desarrollado en el área de robótica. Luego visitamos los laboratorios de robótica, donde vimos y probamos los diferentes proyectos de la escuela. Después de una pausa para el café y las tartas, cada escuela asociada hizo su presentación sobre las personalidades destacadas en el área de la tecnología/robótica en cada país. A las 12:30 p.m., hora local, la escuela anfitriona ofreció el almuerzo a los profesores y estudiantes involucrados en el proyecto en un restaurante. El menú era una "rotación" de pizzas típicas del país. Por la tarde, los alumnos realizaron un taller en 3D, donde cada uno diseñó una pieza para el robot OTTO DIY, un robot construido en 3D por los alumnos de la escuela. Luego los estudiantes se fueron a casa con sus anfitriones y los profesores regresaron al hotel.

April 1: First day of activities at the IIS school (Istituto di Istruzione Superiore). At 8:30 we were warmly welcomed in the Aula Patrizia Di Salvatore, a small auditorium, where presentations were made by students and teachers from the various countries involved in the project. The students of the host school presented their developed works in the field of robotics. Then, we visited the robotics laboratories, where we saw and experimented with the various projects of the school. After a break for coffee and cakes, each partner school made its presentation on personalities that were revealed in the technology / robotics area of ​​each country. At 12:30 local time, the host school offered lunch to the teachers and students involved in the project at a restaurant. In the afternoon, the students gave a 3D workshop, where each one designed a piece for the robot OTTO DIY, a robot built in 3D by the students from school. Then the students went home with their host and the teachers returned to the hotel.

2 de abril: Hoy todos tuvimos que madrugar porque la reunión era a las 7:20 en el colegio para ir a Roma. La mañana la pasamos en la Universidad TRE de Roma, donde visitamos una exposición de proyectos de robótica desarrollados por varias universidades del país. A continuación, asistimos a una conferencia titulada "Tecnologías para la calidad de vida". A las 12:30 nos fuimos a almorzar a las cercanías y por la tarde visitamos la Basílica de São Paulo. De vuelta en Avezzano, los estudiantes fueron entregados a sus familias anfitrionas y los profesores fueron llevados al hotel. April 2: Today we all had to get up early, because the meeting was at 7:20 at school to go to Rome. The morning was spent at the university Rome TRE, where we visited an exhibition of robotics projects developed by several universities in the country. Next, we have a lecture titled "Technologies for the Quality of Life". At 12:30 we all went to lunch in the neighborhood and in the afternoon we visited the Basilica of St. Paul. Upon returning to Avezzano, the students were handed over to their host families and the teachers were exhausted to the hotel.

3 de abril: El día amaneció con sol y temperaturas suaves. La mañana se pasó en la escuela, donde los estudiantes se dividieron en grupos, cada uno con elementos de varias nacionalidades. Utilizando el Lego EV3, construyeron y programaron un brazo robótico y un robot sigue la línea. Los estudiantes almorzaron juntos en el centro de la ciudad. Después del almuerzo, el cielo estaba oscuro y nos dio un regalo de lluvia y frío. Sin embargo, esto no nos impidió visitar las ruinas romanas de Alba Fucens y una iglesia romana dedicada al dios Apolo. Fue construido en el año 302 a.C. y destruido por el gran terremoto de 1950. Fue completamente reconstruido con las piedras y columnas originales. Las ruinas también datan del mismo año y los habitantes de la época dedicaron su devoción al semidiós de Hércules para que bendijera sus cultivos y ganado. De regreso en Avezzano, los estudiantes regresaron a sus respectivas casas y terminaron el día con una cena en una pizzería local. April 3: The day dawned with sunshine and mild temperature. The morning was spent in school, where the students were divided into groups, each with elements of various nationalities. Using Lego EV3, they built and programmed a robotic arm and a follow-on robot. Then the students had lunch together in the center of the city. After lunch, the sky became gloomy and presented us with rain and cold. However, this did not stop us from visiting the Roman ruins of Alba Fucens and a Roman church dedicated to the god Apollo. This was built in the year 302 BC and destroyed by the great earthquake of 1950. It was completely rebuilt with the original stones and columns. The ruins also date from the same year and the inhabitants of the time dedicated their devotion to the half-god Hercules so that this one blessed his harvests and cattle. Back in Avezzano, the students returned to their respective homes and finished the day with a dinner party at a local pizzeria.

4 de abril: El día amaneció frío y lluvioso. La mañana se pasó en la escuela IIS con actividades para los estudiantes. Se dividieron en grupos y juntos construyeron y programaron un pequeño robot. Mientras los alumnos trabajaban en sus robots, los profesores visitaron los laboratorios de tecnología, donde conocimos algunos de los proyectos desarrollados por la escuela. También nos dieron una demostración de juegos digitales educativos creados por un alumno, y después del almuerzo los alumnos de los distintos países socios hicieron un vídeo con frases sobre la importancia de leer en sus lenguas maternas. A las 16:00 horas, los portugueses tomamos el tren a Roma para pasar los dos últimos días en la capital italiana. Llegamos a Roma a las 6:30pm y fuimos recibidos con lluvias torrenciales y tormentas. (¡Los dioses deben estar locos!) Mañana continuaremos nuestra aventura en la Copa Roma 2019 y por la tarde visitaremos algunos de los lugares más emblemáticos de Roma. While the students worked on their robots, the teachers visited the technology labs, where we learned about some of the projects developed by the school. We also had a demonstration of digital educational games created by a student. After lunch, students from various partner countries made a video saying phrases about the importance of reading in their mother tongues. At 4:00 p.m., we, the Portuguese, took the train to Rome to spend the last two days in the Italian capital. We arrived in Rome at 18:30 and were met with torrential rain and thunderstorm. (The gods must be crazy!) Tomorrow we will continue our adventure in the Rome Cup 2019 and in the afternoon we will visit some of the most emblematic places in Rome.

5 de abril: Último día de actividades de aprendizaje en Italia. Hoy todo el día ha estado lleno de visitas culturales a Roma. Comenzamos con el coliseo. Es un gran monumento en el centro de Roma que no deja indiferente a nadie! Luego fuimos al Panteón, pasando por varios Foros Romanos, la Columna Traviana y el monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II. Luego nos dirigimos a la Plaza de España, donde almorzamos. Por la tarde, lanzamos una moneda en la famosa fuente de Trevi y miramos la Bocca de lla Verità. April 5: Last day of learning activities in Italy. Today the whole day was filled with cultural visits in Rome. We begin with the coliseum. It really is a grand monument in the center of Rome that does not leave anyone indifferent! We then proceed to the Pantheon, passing through several Roman Forums, the Traiana Column and the Vittorio Emanuele II monument. We then went to Plaza de España, where we had lunch. In the afternoon we went to throw a coin in the famous fountain of Trevi and we looked out for Bocca de lla Verità.
