FIRST CONDITIONAL
We use FIRST CONDITIONAL when we talk about the future. Its structure is:
IF + PRESENT SIMPLE + , + FUTURE (WILL)
Example: If it rains, we won't go to the park.
I will buy a new pen, if this doesn't work.
If you study all the evening, you will pass tomorrow's exam.

ZERO CONDITIONAL
ZERO CONDITIONAL is used when the result of the condition is always or generally true. It follows this structure:
IF + PRESENT SIMPLE + , + PRESENT SIMPLE
Example: If I study, I pass the exams.
If you are late, you miss the bus.
If she doesn't eat, she is hungry.
My icecream melts if I leave it out of the freezer.
