PRACTICE Nº 1: DENSITY

In this practice you are going to learn how to calculate  the density of an irregular body.

The unit of density in the SI is kg/ m3  but we can also express density in g/ cm3.

You can find the mass of the irregular solid with a beam balance and the volume by water displacement in a graduated cylinder.

MATERIAL:

 A bar of modelling clay.
